January 28th, 2013 New York, NY – Today, a bipartisan group of Senators released a comprehensive package to overhaul the nation’s immigration system, which includes a pathway to citizenship for the almost 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country. The Latino Commission on AIDS praised this bipartisan leadership to address this critical issue which will create a system to keep hard working immigrant families together. The Commission is committed to supporting the immigrant rights movement in order to bring justice, respect, and dignity to all of our communities.
