SYMPOSIUM:
Prevention
of HIV/AIDS in Latinos: Applying Research Findings
to Practice and Identifying Priorities for Future
Researchs

The objectives of this symposium will be to: (a) present a review of research identify research priorities, and promote research about prevention of HIV/AIDS among emerging Latino and immigrant populations in the United States; and (b) identify ways to incorporate best practices from research in prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community.
If you are a researcher, volunteer, or practitioner working in programs serving the Latino community or aimed at HIV prevention or care, or if you are a student interested in learning about research needs related to prevention of HIV/AIDS, please join us!
There is no registration fee and lunch and will be
provided. CEUs will be provided for a nominal fee.
A limited
number of travel scholarships are available for graduate
students interested in research related to prevention
of HIV/AIDS among Latinos.
