About the Commission
Unidos Podemos
The Latino Commission on AIDS is a non profit organization dedicated to resolving the HIV crisis in the Latino community, where social stigma, poverty, language barriers, immigration status fears, and access to care deter testing and increase the infection rate. The Commission serves the emerging needs of Latino communities in more than 40 States and Puerto Rico.
Donate to the Commission
Your support is vital to us
It allows us to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS, STDs, and substance abuse and demand access to the highest quality health services for all Latinos around the nation.
People Making a Difference
We are the Commission
We are 42 people at the Commission working in 16 programs and many other initiatives to educate our community about HIV/AIDS and other health issues, to advocate for their rights, to research health disparities issues, and to create awareness about the importance of having a health educated community.
